in the time i bought my home and began to remodel it i found that many of my tools was getting dull, trying to sharpen case harden metals with a file wasn't getting the job done so i started looking for a bench grinder and settled on the shop fox m1051-6, to my amazement it handled every sharping job i had to do, so a friend came over just the other day seem mine and ran out and bought one for his home shop, never again will i be caught with out a bench grinder, thank you amazon for the price, that made the difference also......a.l. harris................raleigh, n.c.

This product is bottom of the line! Since I did not require a high powered bench grinder, I decided to go low-end. When I received the product the housing was cracked - it ran pretty good, but cheaply made. I returned it and decided to buy a Ryobi at Home Depot. Please note, I truly love Amazon - they basically have the best prices, but not this item. Larry
