Product Description
The Streamlight Super Tac LED Flashlight features a super tough construction with a bright LED bulb, making it an ideal tactical flashlight. The Super Tac is crafted of anodized 6000 series machined aircraft aluminum and features a shock-proof C4 LED bulb. A parabolic reflector produces a long range targeting beam to increase intensity and aid in navigation. This handheld flashlight is o-ring sealed to resist moisture and is waterproof to IPX7 standards. A push button switch allows for easy activation of the constant on/off and momentary modes.

5 out of 5 stars A super bright light in a small package   September 22, 2008

I am very happy with this light. The only downside is the price. This flashlight is quite small at only about 6 inches long, and very lightweight. The head is the size of a normal D size Mag lite but the brightness is unbelievable. I have used this outdoors and the beam must go at least 500 feet. If Amazon lowers the price back to what I paid last week ($69.01) I will buy another.

This is the best light I have ever bought. Super bright!
Brighter then a Surefire G2 I have. And because it's LED, the batteries last a long time.

4 out of 5 stars bright light   December 19, 2009

It's very bright for a small flashlight, it has a wide head and a odd shape, unlike any flashlight I have ever owned. It comes with a holster and there is a snap on the holster, it was very hard to open and close-should have used velcro or magnets.

3 out of 5 stars Wouldn't recomend it as a LE duty light.   September 8, 2009

I purchased this for work. I placed the holder on a duty belt, and in less than two shifts, the holder tore apart. The end of the light, which houses the switch, is exposed through the open bottom of the holder. Halfway through the second shift, that is day two, I noticed the the paint had worn completely away around the switch, and the aluminum was marred. The switch also showed some wear from exposure. I have used several Streamlight flashlights, but none ever seemed to wear this quickly! I still have some old ones that are usable, but I like the LED better. It's also an unusual shape. I understand the concept, and it is quite bright with the larger cone area. But, I have large hands, and with the small barrel area and larger front end, it is hard for me to hold on to. I have no idea how someone could carry this on a duty belt, I haven't found any after market holders out there. I have a smaller Surefire G3, which fits almost anywhere, and works quite well. But I prefer to have two lights on me. I will most likely go to the Pelican 7060 rechargeable. It is a great size for me, and from what I have seen, a very tough and very bright light.
